Photo Art Director | Visual Storyteller | Maker
I’m a photo art director focused on creating emotionally rich photography and motion for home, kitchen, and lifestyle spaces. My work centers on real environments—bedrooms, dining areas, kitchens—and the everyday rituals that make them meaningful. I’m drawn to storytelling that feels warm, honest, and beautifully lived-in.
My creative journey began at a contemporary arts center with deep community roots, where I supported hands-on arts programming and later led visual design across exhibitions, events, and communications. That experience shaped how I approach storytelling, branding, and the craft of clear, purposeful design.
Currently, I lead creative direction for a commercial photo studio where I oversee still photography, motion, set design, and culinary development. I’m hands-on with every aspect of production—from shaping environments and directing talent to guiding lighting, tone, and styling. I work closely with teams across disciplines to create brand moments that are visually compelling and grounded in real life.
Culinary storytelling is a core part of my work. I’ve directed food photography for everything from large-scale campaigns to packaging and recipe-driven shoots. I collaborate with chefs, stylists, and culinary teams to ensure every detail—from plating to prop selection—feels natural, elevated, and on brand.
Outside of work, I stay connected to the tactile side of creativity—woodworking, fine cabinet-making, photographing, and gardening. That maker’s mindset shapes everything I do: thoughtful, hands-on, and always rooted in the relationship between people and place.
At the heart of my work is a belief that great creative doesn’t just look good—it feels good. It invites people in. It tells a story that resonates with how we live.
